Coaching

At CMDI, we know that families can benefit from our coaching services. Family coaching can be part of IEP-driven services such as parent training. It can also be initiated by parents to cover many different family challenges and topics such as establishing household rules and routines, sibling rivalry, supporting a child with a disability in the home and community and family meeting facilitation. Family coaching services can be provided in-person in a mutually agreed upon location such as the home or community location. Family coaching can also be provided virtually.

Workshops

CMDI provides workshops on many topics that impact family life. Commonly requested family workshop topics include positive behavioral interventions and support strategies, community engagement, supporting peer relationships, homework support, fostering independence, and disability-specific information and strategies.
